Question about Dryers
Recently my Kenmore has stopped running. I have checked the door switch and Start Switch which both work fine. In fact I can hold the Start switch down and it runs just fine and heats. Where would I look next to troubleshoot?
There is a centrifugal switch on the dryer motor. pressing start energizes the start winding and the motor runs. when the motor is up to proper rpm the start switch is supposed to kick out and the motor runs on its run winding.
