Wave propagation at 80 meters is very good which means there will always be congestion on any legal channel. All that I can suggest is to use some kind of encode/decode system and hope that it can over ride or be detected through the traffic.
What distance are you trying to cover? Maybe a different frequency range would work better for you.

What is 1.9 metres high by 80 centimetres wide in sqraure metres

The easiest way to do this is to convert 80 centimetres to 0.8 metres. Now we can multiply like measures and the number of square metres.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Good luck.

W do I turn off squelch control on a digitech DC-1065 marine radio hand held 5 Watt

Hi David,

Before I try to give advice, I need more info.

I possess a Digitech DC1065 UHF 80 Channel CB hand held, so there seems to be some confusion here.

I live near Perth, Western Australia.

Firstly, How many channels does your radio have?

If the answer is 80, then what you have is a UHF CB, not a marine band radio.

Marine band is VHF with 87 Channels, in Australia that is, and the default channel is always 16.

Digitech are an Australian radio manufacturer, so you'll get great backup service.

If your radio is not defaulting to Ch16, then I am right about it being a UHF CB.

Therefore, it is useless for VHF anything, let alone Marine band.

I'm almost 100% sure this is a UHF CB in your possession.

Try this to prove me right please.

Reply to me with your Country and nearest city, I'll then be able to find a solution for you real quick, though I believe I already have.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards,
Peter

Kenmore Elite Electric Rnage 2 years old model 790.9662. If you set oven to 350...never gets there or takes forever. I gave up after 35 minutes abd it was only at 235. HELP! PLEASE!

the gas valve on the back isnt on... the valve doesnt stop the stovetop from working, only the oven. You are seeing the ignition element heating up and thats slowing heating the oven.

MEMORIES & MEMORY SCANNING:
• The 855 receives mainly via frequencies programmed into its 50 memory channels. It does not have a VFO or dial mode as such, but can scan within two frequencies.
• To scan memory channels, press SCAN. To hold a channel, press MANUAL.
• The 50 channels are divided into 5 banks (Bank 1: Channels 1-10, Bank 2: 11-20, etc.).
• Any of the 5 banks can be turned off from scanning. To turn a bank on/off, press its number while in Scan Mode. Active banks are illuminated in the display.

I couldn't locate the manual for your scanner, but it's basically the same as the BC860XLT, except that the 860 has 100 channels. Other than that, all controls and functions are the same. You can download and print the manual for the 860 here:

FULL BAND OF AUDIO NOT CLEAR

If you have set the EQ curve to the typical "disco smile" ( where the curve looks like a smiling mouth) that everyone who is inexperienced seems to do, then you have turned down the midrange area. Human vocals appear between 200hz to about 5kHz. If the vocals are clear when the unit is in bypass mode, then you are not operating the eq properly. If they are not clear when the EQ is bypassed, you have another problem. The best way to run an EQ is to leave most of it flat across the entire range, at zero gain and CUT only the stuff that is annoying, or caused by your room or speaker limitations. Try this first, before assuming you have a hardware fault.
