Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

My stepson just got a $900+ Cyberpower gaming CPU. It is acting crazy. Had trouble with it booting and getting video signal from the get go. The first time it was hooked up, a simple hit of the reset button fixed it. Then next morning, nothing. Then unplugged it and brought to my house, plugged it in and it worked beautifully. Turned it off, next morning, back to nothing again and I can't get it to boot or give up a video signal. Any ideas before I send it back? I'd really like to avoid the cost of sending it back if it's simple enough to fix myself. Help! Please! Thanks so much

Okay are you bringin his CPU only or his monitor too? Check his monitor.. Because if its working else where then that is probably it.

How do I restore the BIOS settings on my Cyberpower Windows 8 64-Bit Gamer Ultra 2150. I installed a new graphics card and went into my BIOS to change the setting and after I saved new settings I have no...

You should remove the CMOS battery from motherboard for 10-15 second and than put it again. When you change the graphic card, you shouldn't go to BIOS, just install the Driver for your new grapic card. bed355b8-0e7a-4736-bf41-c4eb95ebe7a5.jpg

Motherboard starts but no signal in the monitor

Hello here is the cpu list:

http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/P4i45G/?cat=CPU

Other cpu`s than them on the list, does not fit the mainboard.
This will cause the mainboard not to boot up, when the cpu is wrong.
The (wrong) cpu will fit the socket, but it does not fit the cache size, fsb, and so on.

Look also in the manual:

http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/P4i45G/?cat=Manual

The problem could also be the power supply failing, try to change that.

Did it boot up before you changed the cpu ???
Any beep codes ??

I get a loud buzz while playing games on my cyberpower sagitta how can I fix it?

Tinnitus is what this is. Could also be bad speaker system. The 60Hz hum from the power supply in your speakers is bleeding into your sound signal.

L7VMM2 wont boot (no post) plz help

Sounds like the CMOS battery on the motherboard needs replacing...i would try clearing CMOS first, replace battery and test voltage at the CPU (through the BIOS) If that dosen't help you likely have faulty capacitors.
If you get it to boot, im sure drivers and BIOS will need updates if it's been stored 2 yrs.

Similar problem after ASUS relacement

Your first solution would probably be to find your CMOS jumper and reset the BIOS. Remove excess peripherals, like modem cards and the like. Make sure only the bare essentials are connected. As a last resort, pull all of the RAM and see if it beeps at you - if you don't get a long POST code, then the board is probably toast. I'd take a look at that power supply if that's the case.
