Blackberry jvm error

The very same thing happened to my Blackberry Curve. The system has been completely wiped-out. The service is still there but you need to download the software to your phone again. You can fix it if you have access to the internet without the CD. Go to then click on Software, then click on Device Software and follow the instructions from there( your phone must be connected to the computer while doing this with the USB cord) This will reload the software back on to your blackberry. Also, beware, you will lose all of your contacts that you had previously stored in your phone. I am so sorry that you are experiencing this on your vacation. Hope this helps.

Palm Treo Rebooting After send an Text/SMS

Hello, hope it helps (from

The application that causes the reboot varies, but it’s always the same error related to the message store. Here’s how you fix it (and beware — this deletes all the text messages on your device!):
  1. If you don’t already have it, you need to download and install FileZ on your Treo. All this does is give you access to all the files on the Palm OS filesystem. This is a tool that must be used very carefully, since you can move, copy, and delete any files on the Treo, even ones you didn’t know were there. It’s one of the most useful Treo utilities you can have.
  2. Run FileZ on your phone and choose “View and Edit Files.” In the next screen, you should see “Internal” under Filename. It might also say “ROM.” If you have an SD Card, you should also see “External” or “SD Card.”
  3. Click on the little wedge beside “Internal” to expand the list of files on your Treo.
  4. Find Messages Database and delete it (you do this by checking it, choosing “Details,” and then clicking “Delete”)

How can I clear the recipients in lookup in contacts??

Get a shareware program called Filez for the Palm platform. Install it onto your Treo. Go into the program and click on "View and Edit Files". Click on the "Internal" arrow to open the listing on your Treo. Scroll down to the "S's" by hitting the "S" button on your keyboard. Scroll manually until you get to"SMS Msg Databa..." Click on it and then click the button that says "Details". In the window that comes up, hit the "Delete" button. It will ask you if you are sure, which you are. But you are not done yet! You will now have to delete the old (full) record from your desktop backup database or you will get every one of those contacts back when you hotsync again. Here's what to do about that: Do a search for SMS Msg Database.pdb or SmsDB.pdb - or similar, these are the names they are called on my Mac. Delete those files - and you should have a nice empty database to fill up with your own friends and contacts.

Lost all contacts, memos, tasks, after LifeDrive Update 1.0

This morning I downloaded LifeDrive Update 1.0, and when I did a HotSync afterwards, I got an error message saying, Handheld Tasks application database version not supported. Handheld Notes application database version not supported. Now my contacts, memos, tasks, calendar entries and possibly other items are all gone!! This is the core data that is the reason why I use a PDA! I would be totally distraught, except that the data does still seem to exist in Outlook on my PC. I am running Outlook 2002, SP3 on a WinXP machine. Can anyone help to fix this problem? thanks,
