Cant setup or use my 3g data connection on my konka t640s without it being on roaming and if i do use roaming its really slow and cant use play store??

• R = roaming as you found out
• E = Edge, or 2g...its really slow but works in a pinch
• 3G = 3g...still slow but better than Edge
• H = HSPA, its a form of 3G just a lot faster...this was considered 4g before true 4g
• H+ = HSPA+, same as above just faster
• LTE = 4g LTE. its the fastest of the bunch.

R is for roaming. Maybe your network doesn't allow data on roaming?

Uninstall and reinstall the apps.

Go into settings from Home screen. Under wireless & Networks find More... and press, then Mobile networks. switch on Data roaming by ticking the box. May need to Data enabled tick as well up the top.

VOLUME UP AND POWER

You may have your 3G active especially if you have a plan with the service provider and your 3G is activated by default. Go to settings ,and disable data roaming and data transfer. More specific answer can be given if you inform the model do the phone the carrier etc. some like at& t are coming out with models like LG a 340 which do not have disable data roaming or 3G at all.

Disable 3G and data roaming except when you need to access internet.

Do you have your cell carrier reception? If not and you still want to use cellular internet, you need to enable Data Roaming.
To do this:
1. Tap Settings application.
2. Select Cellular.
3. Toggle Cellular Data on.
4. Toggle Data Roaming on.
5. Data Roaming is now on.

Please note that data roaming might be really expensive!
