Xerox workcentre 5775 I sent a 1-page document to the printer... Logged on in the printer, went to my ticket list, selected the document (from the printer) and foolishly I typed "999" in the number of copies to print from the machine... I need to cancel the massive job list but it seems I can only do it one by one and that is near impossible! Have tried pressing red stop button and the AC button but no luck. Have restarted the printer in the hope it will purge any outstanding printing jobs, it didn't work! Switched it on and off, no luck either! Contacted Xerox for support... useless! There are no print jobs in queue in my computer, so can't fix it that way... I need help!!!
What it means is the tank to collect waste ink (from cleaning etc) is full.
Canon suggest you return ther printer for replacement of the absorbant mat, suggest you scour the web for DIY cures.
SOURCE: unable to clear printer queue
I had a related problem. Couldn't delete a job from the queue nohow. I wound up deleting various processes (CTRL ALT DEL PROCESSES tab) and it cleared it.

for god's sake don't ring canon customer service as they are useless and just keep directing me to their **** driver which is causing the problem. i could not convince them that my "printer properties" "paper available" was locked on "letter" and won't allow me to change it. even when i go to the "printer preferences" page and set everything to a4 and press "apply" it still is locked on "letter" in the "printer properties" page. Iv'e probably wasted about 20 hours on this and my office has nearly ground to a halt. If i knew it was going to be this much bother i could have just bought another brand printer.
We have a WorkCentre 7655 that has been working fine for ages but is now causing some issues. A user who is running Windows 7 32 bit edition is sending files to print (using the secure print function) - the system is reporting they have spooled fine to the printer - but when they go and release the document they are getting (more often than not) about 16 out of 21 pages (for example) and then a PCL XL Error (Subsystem: Text, InternalError 0x50, Operator: Text, Position: 8564). I have another document that 9 times out of ten will actually crash the WorkCentre completely and cause it to reboot mid way through printing.
The driver we are using is the latest: "Xerox WorkCentre 7655 rev 2.0 PCL6"
As mentioned the user is running Windows 7 - the printer is shared from a Windows 2003 Server which has the same version of the driver.
