Question about Nikon Coolpix 5700 Digital Camera
You can contact interfoto for this. They have office in Bombay and Delhi. I had the same problem and they have replaced the CCD free of cost.

Bad news is that it is CCD sensor that seems faulty ( and only way to repair this fault is to replace the CCD block ) but the good news is that Nikon repairs this problem free of charge on this model even if your warranty has expired. Contact Nikon and have a new CCD sensor installed.
