Smoke coming from electronics is never a good thing. If it was working or new before you wired it wrong, chances are it isn't something you could fix without the knowledge and proper test equipment to pinpoint what was fried. There are no user serviceable parts inside the unit. You can send it out for repair or get another one.

It is more than likely the audio output transistors have shorted out, test equipment will be needed to find out the extent of damage.

I put a new car stereo and system in my car. Now the parking lights won't turn off. Is this a security mode on the car? Or is it from the wiring? It is a 2006 Kia Spectra EX.

Usually the brown wire is for illumination. If you have supplied power to this wire some how it will keep these lights on. If you got wiring schematics with the stereo recheck your work.

When i plug in my mp3 into the phonic system it doesnt play certain notes of songs and there is no bass

It sounds like the cables you are using, or the way you have it wired into the system are not correct. If you are using the stereo channels on the mixer, then the system also needs to be wired in stereo to the proper amp and speakers. Otherwise you hear the left or right side of the stereo mix, and not all of the music correctly.
Another problem may be the kind of cables you are using to wire the MP3 player to the mixer with. If you are using a 1/8" adapter to the MP3 player, make sure it is a STEREO 1/8" adapter, and that both left and right channels are plugged into the mixer, preferably on the first two inputs to test and see that both channels are indeed coming through. Then you may move them to a stereo channel. Again, make sure that the system is wire in stereo in order to hear both sides, Good Luck

If i wired my stereo amp up wrong could it cause the stereo to stop working just by attempting to turn the volume up

Define wrong...You need to hook the speakers up to the amp so there is a load for the amp to transfer the power to. If you have the polarity reversed it won't mess up anything but it will sound weird.

My radio only works when i turn my exterior lights on and nw my tail lights nt working and so has my radio what the problem???

Is it an aftermarket radio. Sounds like its wired wrong. Sounds like someone wired the ground of the stereo to the wire that controls the illumination lights on the factory stereo.

Did i make the wrong decision ?.........

the car is smoking since you put the remote system in? i suggest you call a lawyer and sue the **** who incorrectly wired in the system for you for starters.... chances are something was wired up with reverse polarity or reversed connected wires to the high draw and low draw sides of your starter system

My 300zx got smoke issue but im not sure.smoke come both sides when i start the car.it got little oil leak from turbos.but once engine got hot the smoke goes away.when driving it doesnt smoke.but it...

It sounds like you may need valve seals.
The oil sits in the head after the engine is cut off and leaks around the seals into the cylinder.
When you start the engine it burns the oil and sends the smoke out of the tailpipes.
It does not hurt anything much if it is not to bad.

No dash lights or dimmer control after installing a stereo system

you have to run a jump wire to you cluster when you pull the factory unit out the aftermarket units are wired just a little different find your illumination wire should be orange and make sure it is wired correctly you may have to tie it in to a different wire,,,, i did this on several gm trucks i cant remember which wire i had to jump it to but i belive i tied the amp and illumantion wires together and made it work your fuse will protect you from doing any damage if you should jump the wrong wire...
