Question about Dryers
Frigidaire FEX831CS, dryer is not heating anymore. It tumbles, but is not heating... we've only had it about 2.5 years, bought brand new. How do I get to the heating element to see if that's the problem... and if I can get to it, is my search pointless because I think I read that the heating element for this machine is no longer made? Please help... we don't have any money to get a repairman... thank you in advance for your response.
That could be your high limit switch. Unplug dryer and gently pry on tops left and right corners, Try not to scratch your paint on corners. You lift top up and lean and lay it back so its against the wall behind it. Near back you will see the high limit on the right side rear. Need to check continuity by taking one of the wires off and use a multimeter to see if circuit is open, if so it will need replaced. I have the repair manual if I can help you, Thanks Sea Breeze High Limit here
