1. Turn the main power OFF/ON.
2. Check for condensation on the LDB.
3. Reconnect the connectors between LDB (Synchronizing detector board)
and IPU.
4. Replace the LD unit.
5. Replace the IPU
6. Replace the harness between LDB (Synchronizing detector board) and
IPU.
Sc 220. For the earlier model..it refers to the polygon motor error. U cannot clean the motor. U have to replace it. Becauce the sensor did not detect suficient optimal RPM
Hi. The SC220 issue is a known one on the 3800c. It's a firmware related problem, and the code, which points to the synchronizing detector boards, is erroneous. You can read more about it, and possible ways to avoid it here. Updating the firmware to get rid of this problem is not an easy job.
sc220 is a laser sync error. You'll probably need to either replace the laser sync board or the laser diode itself, so you may want to contact a local service technician, as both of these components are internal and can be slightly tricky to get to.
