If there is no light on the receiver then I'm sorry to say it might be fried!... Try unplugging and leaving it for a while ... I know that seems like a bit of a whacky idea but this often works with some hardware I have come across

I bought a working logitech freedom 2.4 RF2.4 joystick. I have a reciver that connects my keyboard and mouse. Can i connect the joystick to it?

Not likely. The receivers tend to be brand proprietary. Bluetooth is the only universal standard used by many input devices.

Joystick is not finding the wireless receiver

On the front of the usb reciever you will see a green flashing LED. This is actually a button which when pressed will then start to blink more rapidly as it is now searching for the controller. If you then immediately press a button on the controller whilst these rapid flashes persist it will find the controller. Both reciever and controller will now show solid LED lights. Voila job done .....happy gaming:P

My wireless cntroller will not flash its green center lights

sounds like.... the battery completely died on controller.. you charged it by plugging it in to system and never restarted the system to regain the wireless signal..

turn off 360... turn off controller.. boot system.. boot controller, if no signal is detected you have a hardware issue with controller (assuming other controllers work with system)

Light on the Joystick no longer lights up.Joystick works fine otherwisr.Georger!

hi

Dono how good you are with a screw driver and a cable tester but ok here we go.... you will need to open the joystick and test the wired connection to the LED (bulp) if you tested the cables and you do have a power feed to the LED then you need to replace the LED it self.

Hope this helpes

Freedom 2.4 problem

What you can try is to press the surface on the receiver where the light blinks. This is actually a button you can click. The blinking pattern should then change. Now press any button on your joystick. The receiver is now scanning all channels for input and it should pick up the joystick's signal.

Most wireless devices from Logitech have multiple channels, which you can switch between, but this also means the receiver can be set to channel A and the joystick to channel B, which means they are not matching up.

After the click on any of the joystick buttons the light on the receiver should change to continuous light instead of blinking, indicating the link has been established.

You can find this solution on the Logitech web-site as well. Select your joystick and under the support steps it should say 'For wireless products you should now reestablish the connection following the steps here.' Where the word here is a hyperlink.

There you will find out that the receiver has a button to trigger the channel.

as another said, the batteries do not always contact the terminals. try rearranging the batteries. after you get it working stuff some paper in the battery compartment to keep the batteries from moving around.
