SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi there,
Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

Here's a link to this great service

Good luck!

X2gen monitor power and all other front panel switches do not respond. i.e. power auto mute menu etc.. which caps do i need to replace to cure/

Robert,
Did you try opening the lcd ? all those switches connect to the power supply. I would go ahead and check and trace the switches with cabling to the power supply.
I just replace some transistors on 2 of these (22") and they work like a charm.

Lost power cord. What specs. i have output 9vac 1000mA. Is this ok

No, it's way too low power. Most probably you need 12V and something like 4-5A (4000-5000mA). The higher the current rating (Amps) the better, some reserve is always good to have; the unit will draw as much current as it needs, the rating means the maximum current that the power supply can deliver.

Good luck, and please come back with a rating/testimonial if helped :)

Where do I find a power supply cord for the monitor

Hi HD,

Luckily Monitors (98.9% anyway) all use the same basic power cords that computers do.

They are available at any computer store or super store electronics department for $5.00 - $10.00.

If there is a Goodwill in your area, I've found them to be a great source of power and data cables. The price tag there is more like $0.50 - $1.00

Much more reasonable.

Best regards
Mike

Need new power cord for x2gen monitor

You should be able to go to any local store like BestBuy and pick up a power cable. The monitor uses the same power cable as a Desktop PC.

Good luck!
