Question about Cyberhome CH-DVD 300 DVD Player
The machine was manufactured September, 2004. Until recently it worked fine. Now it doesn't do anything. The green power light is on. The power switch does nothing, nor can I open the dvd tray. Since it is a cheap machine, do I just toss it, or is there something I can do?
The CyberHome CH 300 is a good, inexpensive DVD player with a power supply board prone to fail, because of a few weak components, especially if left turned on and not used.
Usually, if the power supply fails, the red light will not illuminate when plugged in, and of course not turn green when turned on.
If you have this specific problem, I can repair the power supply for $20.00. Contact me at FrancisH49@hotmail.com to arrange shipping and return of the repaired board.

Same thing happened to mine. The warranty is long over, and it would cost too much to repair it. Just buy a new one.
