Question about LG VOYAGER VX10000 Cellular Phone
Went to Verizon and they said my phone has water damage which I know is not true, phone not even 10days old. Unless it is so poorly made that talking in the rain can cause the damage. Anyway my phone works perfectly when plugged in and tt appears to charge the battery but within 5 minutes it says fully charged. Try to use on battery power and starts but immediately shuts off. Tried a new battery and same problem. It is as if it is not recognizing the battery is there. The phone is mint condition ,not even a scratch and would hate to replace if can get battery to work. HELP
Sounds like the battery connections may be corroded, try gently cleaning them with a pencil eraser. Clean the connections on the battery and in the phone. Water damage is indicated by a red indicator in the phone. if it is red it indicates water damage which is probably why they will not replace it. If you have insurance on the phone that may be an option for you.
