I've changed the batteries, the DVD player works fine, but the remote isn't pausing, stopping, etc. Is there a Mode setting I have to set first (like Input button on my TV/Cable remote)? Or is there a pairing that needs to happen so the remote senses the particular player? Also, if there's a manual .pdf posted anywhere, I have been unable to find it. Thanks! The batteries are fresh (new). But, the old ones looked a bit corroded. Where is the sensor? I've looked for it, nothing is in front of it.The batteries are fresh (new). But, the old ones looked a bit corroded. Where is the sensor? I've looked for it, nothing is in front of it.

look on your instructions paper and go to the dvd part where it says setup and it will tell you how to set up and give you a code, in which you may have to try several codes before you get the correct one to set it up. Hopes this help, good luck!
There is no setup code to this device with Iview. If you wish to get more; check the site linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. See it in "Mosaic" view. It will make surf easier. http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/
093,018,003,000,063 are the codes to check. If you wish to get more details, check this site. Pull up older posts there. Setup code list and setup proceedings to
many popular brand remote controls are given.
Three digit, four digit, five digits and two-digit code list are there. Check the site with patience. Surely you'll get a solution to your
problem. Search the site by 'Timeslide'
option. It will make search easy. Or, type in the brand name to your device
into its search box, and press "Enter."
If it's a GE universal remote and it doesn't have the brand name iview in the manual with the code then you can't use the universal remote with it. I also have a GE universal remote and no matter which model of GE remote you get they have the same codes. I have never heard of iview so I doubt it will work. You can try and see if there are any original remotes for the iview on ebay though.
Visit this site by typing the site name [Electro-help] to yahoo search box. It has all details about codes and setup proceedings. Check for code to your device. Note them. Choose one universal remote control, which has setup codes for your device.
