you can remove the keys individually... the button itself is not stuck but it seems the contact is... hence the 1111111111 is displaying in search bars. i did a complete system restore last nite thinking it was a bad driver but it still does it... goin to the store today to get an air can and a small phillips to take apart and make sure everything is plugged in securely.. bb did a hard drvie install for me about 3 months ago.. the problem started about a month later.

Hi,
From the looks of it the #1 key is stuck, you need to check it and make sure it is not stuck....

Compressed air can be used on the keyboard to get rid of dirt build-up.
Read your User's Manual to learn if the keys can be removed for cleaning.

Acer aspire zs600 Has Black Screen and Beeps 6 times, then repeats beep...

You might want to start in the safe mode. Right after you reboot your computer keep pressing f8 and it should start in safe mode. Once there you could then possibly see if you can solve the problem.

Good luck,

Marty

Hearing continuous beep sound at startup that disappears on Esc

I started having the smae problem yesterday with my Acer 1410 bought end of 2009. It started after I had stoped some suspicious process to work on start up (using msconfig). During the night I scanned the computer for virus but found nothing. Tonight I will enable those process to work on start up again and see what happens.
I will post the information tomorrow.

BLACK SCREEN AND A BEEPING NOISE FOR AT LEAST 5

Take out the memory and then put it back into its slot. If you have more then one stick of memory then try one stick of memory in each slot one at a time until the beeping goes away. If the beeping doesn't go away then that means either your memory is bad or the motherboad is bad. If you can then try another stick of known good working memory and if you still can't get the beeping to go away then you know that at that point the motherboard is bad cause its not detecting the memory.

My sony vaio makes a beeping sound one long and to short beeps and it wont turn on

One long beep and two short beeps usually means a video problem. If you have an add-on video card, try replacing it with a new one. If you are using an on-board video, go into the bios and turn it off. then shut down & install an add-on card.
