Question about Canon PowerShot A520 Digital Camera
Frequently when I turn on my camera to take a picture, on the LED screen I get two black out things on the screen. One diagonally at the top and one diagonally at the bottom. I can see my picture subject inbetween. Of course, when I take the picture, these black out thing (don't know what else to call them) show up on the picture. Once in a while it just goes away with me fiddling around with turning it on and off. But this time, it won't. Please email me asap as I'm going out of town and want to take pictures......help me...... Thank you! Sue Jones
This is an intermittent failure of the CCD There is nothing for us to help you with in my opinion- Your camera is dying. Depending on how old your camera is and the date of manufacture it is possible that Canon will replace it or supply a refurbished one for free. This is known problem as far as I can tell
