Question about HP PSC 2355 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Recently, I have been having the same problem crop up each time I try to print/copy anything on my PSP 2355. The machine pulls in a sheet of paper on request but instead of printing in normal manner, but instead of stopping as if to print at top/beginning of sheet, the sheet continues about half way through the machine, then stops. Error message 'Paper jam. Press OK to continue.' appears but there is no jam. Removing sheet of paper & returning it to tray doesn't help; same thing happens each time.
I had the same problem. When I inspected the printer inside I detected that on the right sight of the metal thing that's guide te cartridge holder some plactic piece had broken.
When I glued it, everything went OK for a couple of minutes. Because of the presure on that plastic nock it broken again and the same error appeared on the screen.

These printers always wind up jamming/stalling if the back door is the tiniest bit off. Take off the back door and reapply it, even though it looks OK. See if this is of any help: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=421997&lang=en&docname=c00265823

Try this for the HP 2355
empty the paper tray
You will get "Out of Paper" error
insert a blank sheet within about 3 seconds
It will pull in the sheet and print

This is only a fix but not a repair!

Hi, can any one take a picture of the piece that you glued?
I have the same problem, i can see that is broken, but it misses something.

SOURCE: HP PSP 2355
the only thing that can be done is to go to your printers and faxes folder and looking for your HP printer icon, right click on it and select uninstal, switch off and remove printer from the usb port Next go to add/remove programmes and look for any HP printer software listing and uninstall it and restart the pc. If you have the installation cd that came with the printer reinstall the driver and when prompted reconnect the printer to a usb port preferebly a different one than before if you have spare and continue. reset the HP printer to the default printer if not already been prompted to do so by the software and try again printing, if the result is the same the printer itself is faulty and requires servicing or replacing
