Question about Saeco Odea Giro Plus Coffee Maker
I know this means it has to be primed. I do that and water/steam both dispense just fine. However it will not brew the coffee. It starts to, and very little espresso comes out. Then the alarm goes off and the hopper on the side is full of water and the spent puck. I could descale again but it's only been a week. What else can I test for?
Bypass the door interlock with a magnet (the red light will go out when you have the magnet correctly placed above the group). Brew a cup and watch to see how the water is getting into the hopper. Once you know how it is getting into the hopper it should be relatively easy to determine how to fix it.
