If you look carefully at the motherboard you will see lettering on it. There will be a whole bunch of pins sticking up that your connectors are designed to fit over. Somewhere nearby is normally a description of what goes where. In the case of the LED's, if they don't work when you are done, flip the connector around because they only work with the correct polarity. The switches can be connected either way.
