Question about Toshiba 50H81 50" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

Service center is telling me tube fuses need replaced and a reconvergence performed. 350 total. I was only partially listening waiting for the final dollar amount so my description of service required may not be good enough to comment. Just looking to find out if I'm getting screwed for $350.

Sounds fishy to me, there are no Tube fuses in a rear projection TV sounds like you just need new Convergence ICs if you have a 3D appearing picture.

Ford 2005 F350 Diesel 6.0 engine will start and dies about 30 - 45 minutes later. I wait about 30 minutes and it will turn on for about 30 to 45 minutes again.

it may be from the STC fitting on the back of the high pressure oil pump or possibly the branch tube o rings have worn. the branch tubes are located under the valve covers and supply the fuel injectors the oil they need to perform their power stroke.
and check the intake and the turbos.

Hi im raj i have samsung corbyf339 model.its not working touch in hyd.hyd in total . samsung serve centers no stock touch pad.come after 7week or 5days im faceing problem plz resolve

Most cheap touchscreen phones has this issue, the touch screen dies after a year or so.You can
order the touch pad online from international websites but the shipping cost will be too high and
is not worth it.Your best option is to give it to wait for the touch pad to be available in the Samsung
service center and have it replaced by them.Do not give the phone to third party service centers as they
could fix a duplicate touch pad and it wont last even few months.

Garmin gtm 20 lost tip and spring can i get replacement parts

The won't get it. You'll have to call the 1-800-800-1020 number and press the number for the automotive service option. After that, you'll have to wait another 30min ( I waited 90 min - home waiting on the cable man), then you'll finally get to a person who will take all of 60 seconds to place the GTM-20 tip kit on order for you. The service person said that it was a common problem, but don't know why it's not on the Garmin site to order on line. Total parts and shipping $11.50. Hope this helps.

Service d r 350 year 2006 what is involved

Service is determained by KM or MILES, Maintenance letters from A - H is to tell the driver time needed for maintenance and not what is needed. What is needed is by milage of car. A - H service code tells you the time needed to perform the maintenance which is A=1 hour up to H = 8 Hours. In your case D = 3 Hours needed to do the work. If you send me the milage I could tell you what is needed to be done from checking and what needs to be replaced as per the factory
Hope this clears things for you

I just replaced my convergences on my rear projection panasonic tv. i went and turned it back on. it stays on for about 2 seconds and them shuts off. could it my by sotering job? before i replaced the...

Make sure that there are no solder bridges between the i.c. pins. Check all low value resistors for the correct readings with an ohmmeter. Also, sometimes after replacing the convergence chips you must replace the open pico fuses.(small, resistor-like fusable links that are soldered into the board). Occasionally a full realignment must be done to reconverge the three projection tubes. If it is digital convergence you will need the service manual or a trained tech. More than likely you just need to remove any excess solder and solderwick helps with that. Good luck, Russmann.

Blur picture

Most of the time this is caused from cloudy coolant (ethylene glycol) which is used to keep tubes operating cool. Tubes must be removed from set, usually blue and green tubes only. Then it must be drained, cleaned and refilled. It's a messy job and usually can be performed by a service center for 200.00 to 375.00 total. Just the liquid can cost 50.00 to 100.00 and this is fairly common on philips big screens. Hope that helps.
