Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z PC Notebook
Dv6000... display screen went very dim, almost blackened out. Removed power cord and battery. Tried reboot a few times. Returned to normal after several tries, but immediately emitted a burning electrical smell. Removed power and battery and disassembled laptop. Fan/heat exchanger foil was blistered where it contacts the AMD processor. Don't know if both parts are bad or what. Any ideas?
DV6000 was recalled by Hp for a video connector problem. you need to remove your video connector and put a electrical sealant tape. If you have already problem with your GPU you need to make a mayor work to restore your system.
