Question about Acer Aspire M1640 Refurbished Intel Desktop PC - Intel Pentium Dual Core E2160 1.8GHZ, 1GB DDR2, 120
I have an Intel pc, and i have been having some problems. In the past few weeks, the computer has been randomly restarting, and when it recovers, it shows a message that says "Windows has recovered from a serious error" then it works fine for a while. I dont know if this has anything to do with it, but I recently was trying to update my video card, i downloaded the update for it at least (I needed to get it updated because of Sims 2 errors). Just today, It froze while i was on the internet, and I held down the power button to reboot it. Now it turns on, but after the windows logo comes on, i see the regular blue screen that says "Windows is starting up..." but it has been on forever, and just gets stuck there when i reboot again. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
As your title indicates refurbished pc. you might be continuing the windows that came with your pc. My suggestion to get a clear solution. just reinstall windows again. and try to make backup of all the data in the windows drive or else you cannot recover.
