Question about HP Pavilion dv4000 Notebook
Was working great, then it happened. The speakers won't work. The quick touch button (next to vol. control) is now always red, but it works with the head phones pluged in. Anyone have an Idea?
1, type DXDIAG in the run box, do the tests, see what the results are. should tel you the problem.
2, go to control panel, sound, check your settings are correct, there are 2 settings, speakers and
headphones, check they are correctly set.
3, Update the driver,
contol panel, system, device manager, sounds, video & game controllers, click this, tab under it appears, double click this tab, driver dialog box appears for you, driver tab, roll back, or update the driver, let it roll automatically, it will search the internet for it.
Should be good
