CL = Child Lock activated.

To disengage hold down temp and eco/rapid together.

    This is a generic answer for MOST LG washers.

    If it does not work in your case - please respond with your exact model # so i can tell you your Child Lock Unlocking procedure.

My lg washing machine front load displays CL on display what can i do

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

'CL' for LG washers stands for 'Child Lock'.
To release hold down 'temp' and 'eco/rapid' together, then release!

If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!

CL error message

That means that your washing machines child lock is on. You can find two buttons Temp and Options in the panel. Turn the machine on, press these two buttons together for 3 seconds and thats should be it.

LG Intello washing machine, model: WD12235 Front Load

Why dont you people read the user's manual? You wil learn abt your machine, to a certain extent. Try "dry" & "spin" together for a few seconds. This is the child lock display.

Or press "end of cycle" for over 5 seconds. Works for other machines...............And please rate me if helped................
