Fan running but oven not heating?

I turned on my oven one day and there was a spark from the fan area of the oven so turned it off, it didn't trip RCB so turned back on again. All the other functions are working on the oven apart from the fan oven. The fan is rotating but no heat is coming out. Took out oven to see if there was continuity in the element that the fan blows the heat from but couldn't find the element. There are three other elements one for grill, one for base browning & one for top oven heat and also a thermocouple. How does the oven fan work so?
