+/- Tax button has stopped working

Our +/- Tax button has stopped working on this calculator. Is there a way to programme it back in? Thanks Rachel

Our calulator has the word "set" on the % button. If we hold that button in for a few seconds it shows set on the screen, then push the tax plus button and the amount comes up that it is set at, you can change it to what you need, we need 5.92 % so actually had to type in 5.92. Then push the set button 2 times! Hopefully this helps you. Good luck.

Press C.CE C.CE RATE SET (tax ie 17.5) then RATE SET

put calculator in print mode
press CA
hold % button for 5 seconds, release
put in tax amount with decimal point, press tax plus button
press % button

Turn off / on calculator (AC button)
hold down the % (set) button on the calculator
press the Tax +
Enter the tax amount you want
Then press the % (set) button again.
That's it!

press the AC button again and you should be good to go! :)

Setting the VAT calculation function

Press and hold SET button untill set appeares.
Presa TAX RATE batton, enter requred tax. Press set button.
Job done!

Tax button

under the GT button at the top, switch that button to the "Rate"..enter whatever % tax rate you want. Then move button back to off setting.

enter your number and hit the plus sign, then the tax+ button or the tax- button. it will automatically figure the tax for you. You may have to play with it a bit..I got the pdf version from the canon tech geeks, and the directions leave lots to be desired. Good Luck!

To change the tax rate on the Canon MP11DX (and most others):

Slide the "GT" button to "RATE", enter your tax rate and hit the "TAX+" button. Once changed, slide the "GT" button back to the "ON" position.

Tax rate

Here are the steps to do it:
1. Enter the desired tax rate number. E.g. 6
2. Press blue "RATE" button and TAX% sign will start blinking.
3. Press "TAX-" button and the TAX% sign will stop blinking.
4. You have set the rate, now press C to clear the display and
start using with new rate.

1. Press [AC]
2. Hold [SET/%] key for about 2 seconds
3. Press [TAX+]
4. Input the tax rate
5. Press [SET/%]

Setting tax

try switching the top button next to GT to rate,then enter your tax rate then % (8.25%) then switch the top button back to on (or whereever you had it set to) and hit the tax+ button. That worked for me. GO TEXAS!!!

Changing the % tax setting on my Casio calculator

step 1 pess the AC button step 2 press and hold for two seconds the % button step 3 press the tax+ button step 4 input 17­.5 step 5 press the % button that should be the tax set you can check it is set correctly by pressing the AC button and then the tax+ and 17.5 should be displayed
