Question about Samsung HLR5067WX 50" Rear Projection HDTV
I just picked up a 50" Samsung HLR5067WX
I got it because the screen was upside down. I looked into it and found the coded menu.
well the first issue is that it returns to the upside down state whenever it is shut off. is there anyway to save this setting so I dont have to redo it every time?
second issue, which I am more worried about is that after I get it powered up it says "no input devices detected"
I have a dvd player plugged into AV1 and a cable box into the first coax.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

There is a problem with the AV2 input. Since this is a new set, return it for repair or exchange. DO NOT open it up as that would void the warranty.

Check to see if your DVD player is outputing a progressive scan and turn it off if you are using the S-Video cable, it does not support progressive scanning.

After reviewing the service manual for this set, the problem is is in the DIGITAL BOARD. To get the right Digital Board you will need the Version number of the TV.
