SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Bbc iplayer wont work afaiter adobie air update .lost my downloads plus wont play any programes just blank screen

Hi Mark, I understand it's something to do with Air version 3.5
I think the interim workaround was to roll back to version 3.4! (if you can find it)
However, can I suggest 2 workarounds?
1) Download your programs for playing on Windows Media Player selecting it from the 'other download options'
I use this method myself, and it doesn't seem to be as hungry for system resources as does iplayer.
2) If you have your computer set up with 'system restore' enabled, then you can roll your system back to a date prior to when you did the Air update. Then, DON'T allow the Air installer to update again :-)
Best wishes!

On my laptop the touchpad works while the clicking thingy doesnt

Without knowing any specifics (brand, model, etc), I'll have to ask questions. Have you recently installed any software? Installed a new O.S.? Driver updates?

If you haven't changed or created anything important lately, try restoring it to an earlier date. Roll back the drivers, or uninstall and reinstall the component in the device manager (XP: Start Menu > Right click Computer > Properties > Hardware tab > Device Manger. Win7/Vista: Start Menu > type Device Manager in the search bar.) Search for something along the lines of "HID" (Human interface Devices) or "Peripherals". Right click then either uninstall or properties > roll back drivers. If neither of those options work, you may just have broken it physically somehow (I.E. Dropping it, pressing too hard, or even spilling liquid inside).

Media device did not found for audio driver

You will need to be logged on as an administrator in order to do this.
Open Device Manager, click Start, and then click Control Panel. Double-click System. On the Hardware tab, click Device Manager.

See if there's a warning triangle next to your sound driver. If that's the case, try rolling back/updating the driver (right click). If that fails or you don't have one to roll back - look on the manufacturer's site for the correct, updated, drivers for your OS/sound card, or use one of these generic ones.

For Vista/Win 7...

Download, install the Realtek AC'97 Driver (Windows Vista / Windows 7) , then re-start.

http://download.cnet.com/1770-20_4-0.htm...

To install the drivers, double click the downloaded file and follow any prompts then re-start (turn off, then on)."

Sounds like you've got a bad driver from Windows update which is not a first. Firstly turn off automatic windows updates so it doesnt auto-update again. Where you re-installed the drivers from in Device Manager choose uninstall and also there will be an option to delete the files associated with the driver, get rid of those. Heres a link straight to the HP website http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=2093&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=au&lang=en&product=3636382 there is 3 drivers to choose from either look in device manager or it doesnt matter if you try the wrong 1 it just wont find the hardware. If this all works fine turn back on windows update but choose let me decide when to download and instal then uncheck the wireless update, this will hide it from all future updates. Please let me know how it all goes i still have a few more ideas if not. Cheers from Scott

Well no big deal. Follow instructions below & do a system restore to a date when it was OK. Windows (START)\All prog\accessories\system tools\system restore\ Here you'll have a calendar & restore points. Choose one restore point prior to rolling back driver Apply changes & laptop will restart & ur prob will vanish. Please send me your feedback & vote to motivate us & to help us help you.

No sound

This Happened After An Update That said You needed The Update And It was Incompatible With You hardware. Go To Device manager And Roll back The Audio Driver To The Driver before he Most Current. And manually Change it back To The Other Driver. Hopefully This will Solve Your Problem. That has Happened to me on Many Different Computers unning Vista, XP Pro And XP Pro 64. It Is Most Likey Conextent.
