I can get my spekers to work, the problem is they are very low.

I have updated to the latest version of the Realtek HD Drivers, R182, but am still having the same problem.

Is there any way to check to see if the soundcard itself is faulty? I have tried multiple cables, tried using a straightforward 3.5 mm stereo cable to the monitor's PC sound input conection, and a 3.5 mm to RCA type left & right cable, connecting to the monitors's HDMI audio input, same with each option.

Check the following,

  • Speakers, connecting cables and Sound Card are working fine by connecting to another computer.
  • Speaker Cable is connected to an audio port (Audio/Video port in system box).
  • Volume is MUTE / Low (in Volume Controller).
  • Audio drivers have installed.
To Check follow the Steps:
• Go to Start>
• Control panel>
• Double click on "System" Icon> (it shows the System Properties Window)
• Select “Hardware” Tab>
• Select “Device Manager” Tab> (it shows the Device Manager Window)
• Select “Sound, video and game controllers”>
• Expand “+” symbol> (check the audio Codecs, Legacy Audio Drivers and others are not in Questioned Mark (?) symbol with yellow color. If there need to install the drivers ).
  • If not, insert the motherboad CD, browse>select audio driver>install. After completion, restart computer and check.

Easiest way is to find the drivers through the "connect to internet" option which you get once you click on update/re-install drivers in the device manager. Sometimes this process does not work, so in that case you go to fujitsu site, support, choose your PC model and download drivers. Another option, go to driversguide.com, specify your PC model & download drivers.

One of the speakers failed or it has a bad connection. Most likely the non working speaker will need to be replaced.

Hi having problems with my partners Fujitsu Siemens ScaleOP Desktop Computer. She recently reformatted the PC with a Genuine copy of Windows XP which installed perfectly without any hitches but when...

Can the drive read other disks? I'm guessing no. If no, it would appear as if the drivers for the CD rom are not loaded. If this is the case, you will need an internet connection to download the drivers for the cd rom so it will work. Other than that, you can try to install generic cd rom drivers through windows, that may work. Good luck.

I just got a new power supply installed in my Fujitsu 50in. Plasma P50XHA4OUS and cannot get the sound to work, we've tried everything, please HELP!

Assuming the power supply is exact replacement and you did not have this before--check the speakers to make sure not turned off.

If using a cable or sat box make sure sound not way down or off both with the set and the box.

Last but not least if sound is there with a DVD---something somewhere is set to wrong position.

Need to access fan on fujitsu c2220

1) ALL power removed from the laptop. Remove the AC adapter (Charger) and Battery.

2) Observe Anti-Static Precautions.

Your body carries Static electricity. Static WILL fry out (Short Circuit) the delicate hardware components inside a computer.

You will be touching the motherboard, and can Static shock a number of hardware components.
Advise you purchase an ESD wrist strap, and connect it's alligator clip to a good ground source.
Average cost of an ESd wrist strap is around $3 to $6.
Example;

http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103245

{ I connect to an unpainted surface, of the metal frame of an empty desktop computer case.
If the table you're working on has metal legs, connect to an unpainted surface on one of the legs.

If none of the above applies for you, at least place a large metallic object on the table, and connect to it. (Unpainted)
Perhaps a metal serving tray, or large metal knickknack. (Unpainted}

3) Use a multi-compartment container for the various screws you will remove.
Label each compartment for the area the screw/s come out of.

If no multi-compartment container is available you can substitute with a clean egg carton.
Label each egg holder.

SOME screws look VERY similar to other screws. DO NOT mix them up!
{ For example: If you install a wrong screw in a hole you chance it binding up in the hole, halfway in.
Try to take it out, and you may strip the threads off of the screw, and the hole. If the hole is in the motherboard, you've GOT problems}

4) Make a record as you disassemble. A personal record is nice to refer back to in case you are interrupted.
It is also p-e-r-s-o-n-a-l, so YOUR information is more concrete for YOU.

Make notes, and drawings, and/or photos.

5) I do not work on Fujitsu laptops all that often. My service information is very small as for Service Manuals. However, through the years I've found all laptop disassembly, seems to follow a basic pattern

I'm hoping this information crosses over to your Lifebook C2220 Notebook PC,

http://mycapsules.com/disassembly/fujitsu-s2110/cpu

Looking at the photo you will see Step 1 of 29 above it.
To go to the next step click on - next - in blue, or press the p key.

Fortunately for the Lifebook models, the cooling fan can be accessed from the top of the motherboard.
The Keyboard, Palm Rest Cover, (Upper Case), and Static Shield, are removed.
The Cooling Fan is right there on the left. (Two Philips head screws are removed, then the cable's white connector is unplugged from the motherboard)

For additional questions please post in a Comment.

Regards,
joecoolvette

I speakers to my laptop

You need an amplifier between Laptop/PC jack to drive the high power speakers/subwoofers. Or buy the special system like Logitech's Speaker system (speakers-subwoofer) that has a built in amplifier already designed for PCs/Laptops. Radio shack has amplifiers of various inputs and power levels.
