See www.neptunehelp.com. If the machine is loud in spin cycle then you probably need bearings. If so, check out www.neptunebearing.com

My car makes a low pitch groaning noise when i make a left turn does my power steering fluid need to be changed it is dark brown and there are no leaks

a change will not hurt it
If the noise is only from one direction it could be suspension related or box related . have an accredited steering specialist shop look at it.

What is cause of power steering noise from ford galaxy

Check your fluid level first. If the fluid is low it will cause the power steering pump to make noise. Moore noticeable when in parking lots and driving in the city where you are making a lot of turns. Look for leaks. If you fill the power steering resivor to the proper level and the fluid leaks and you can not see the leak it may be your steering rack. The fluid leaks into the boots and sometimes goes un -detected. You can poke a small hole in the bottom of the boots and see if fluid leaks out. If so the steering rack is leaking and should be replaced

Fluid leaking possibly from transmission

Several places the transmission can leak, pan gasket is most common place with cooler line fittings being next most common.Clean all the fluid off with a can of brake clean you can buy at a parts store.Make sure engine is off first and that the transmission has been topped off so as better to produce a leak. After it is clean crank and let idle on level ground for 30 minutes then shut it off and get a flash light and see if you have a leak and follow it to the source(fluid runs downhill like water)If you have no leak let it set overnight and check in the morning.Good luck!

The atf oil is leaking of my car is tha a problem?

bmw uses ATF as power steering fluid most likely one of the hoses are failing and will need to be replaced if u start to hear a buzzing noise when turning try not to drive vehicle that can burn out the pump but add fluid before you drive it again the resovor is a dark brown or black round canister with a black lid check the fluid in that if its low then you know its the power steering leak if not then it could be a trans. fluid leak if u have a automatic hope this helps you

Leaking fluid under transmission

Could be a seal, could be a gasket. You will need to get the car on a lift and visually inspect. If it is covered with fluid, you may have to dry off to locate the source. Once you find where it is leaking, you can then address the issue. Good Luck! I hope you find this to be very helpful!

My 1999 chevy tracker 78k miles rear drivers side leaks a fliud and makes a light scrubbing noise brakes and drums were replaced it may have something to do with 4wheel drive axle i was told has anyone had...

Is the fliud a lite clear brown/tan (brake fliud) or is it a dark black colour (gear oil)? It sounds like you have a brake fluid leak. Check your steel line on the rear axle and then remove the wheel and drum and check the wheel cylinder. Top up your Master cylinder and bleed the brakes. You might find the light scrubbing noise gone.

Checking transmission fluid level on 2005 c230 kompressor mb

what fluid did you want to check? oil, coolant, transmission, brake? let me know and maybe i can help. the leak you currently see what color is the fluid? black or dark brown probably enigne oil. red or dark brown probably some kind of hydraulic fluid--trans or brake, yellow, green or blue with a sickly sweet smell is probably coolant. i haven't worked on a c230 but as far as i know all transmissions have a dipstick where you can check the level. check your owner's manual. make sure the car is warmed up such as after a short drive to properly circulate and check the trans fluid. some cars also require the transmission to be placed in a specific position ie neutral when being checked. again check your owners manual.

to the guy that was critical about your question, i hope he stays as dumb and ignorant about his/her car as he seems as with his/her attitude--just keep bringing it to servcie, that way i can keep making a lot of money out of you. i actually prefer an owner who knows a litlte some thing about their car and how it works--it makes the job easier in communicating to me what may be wrong and thus i can save them time and money. we both win. just don't tell me what you think it is--just tell me the symptoms are, as a professional it's my job to figure it out from there. hope this helps.

2002 toyota highlander transmission

First check your transmission fluid level improper fluid level is the number one cause of trans failure, you need to check it with the vehicle warmed up, on flat ground, i accidently checked mine while it was tilted in my driveway and i got a false reading on the dipstick. The fluid should have a reddish color too it, if it is light brown, its time to get it serviced, if it is dark brown or black and you can feel gritty particles while rubbin it between your fingers, your transmission is toast.
