Question about Heating & Cooling
Should be three wires coming out of your box. Take the ground and connect it to the ground stud inside the unit. And then take the black and connect it to the contactor on the L1 side and then the white and connect it to the L2 side. Just match the black to black and white to white. Across the contactor.
So just to make sure I expained it good. Contactor sits just inside your case you have two small wires that are from the t-stat. Only 18 gauge. then the bottom of the contactor has two connections so power comes to the bottom side that is what you are hooking up. Now on the top you should have maybe 5 or 6 wires coming from that. But those are there already.
