Should be a fixed mount on the left side of the carriage and a sprint mounted latch on the right. You will be able to tell if you have through the carriage properly if the strip runs straight through.

How do I align my Citizen CLP 7202e Lable printer print head to align with the lables? Currently it starts printing low on the lable and thus the last 1-2 lines print over onto the next lable

Adjust vertical offset in printer properties. If that doesn't fix it, adjust it under "advanced". Or... you can set the offset in the printer itself. Hold down the left two buttons at the same time. Cycle through the settings until you get to vertical offset.

How to service ink jetprinte

A generalised service would be to run a head clean, alignment, physically clean the printer inside and out. Also replace the cartridges. Some printers can be maniputlated with servicing software if you can get the right software for your printer. This allows you to reset counters, look at the printers overall use, that kind of thing.

Can't get the Zebra S4m printer to align? How should I trouble shoot this? Sonya

I am assuming you mean misalignment of lable top or start of print moving on label.

check sensor for lable debris.

if OK then perform media calibration:

Enter menu and scroll to ADVANCED

press enter and use password 9999

Remove a few labels and remove ribbon

Press right arrow to continue display CALIBRATING PLEASE WAIT.

When complete reload ribbon and labels press right arrow printer will feed approx 39"

printer should now print OK.

Having problerm with aligning cartridges the printer keeps telling me that the alignment failed. how can i fix this?

that was the problem of that printer model it keeps telling but after you follow all the instructions still the same. Unplug the power outlet from the wall and at the back of the printer, leave it for some time and remove the cartridges and put it back again and power the printer sometim it solve the problem.

That problem is mechanical faulty of your printer

When my 2000 Villager shifts if kind dips or

That movement is called TORQUE STEER. One front wheel pulls harder than the other under acceleration, and as you say, its only noticeable at the first moment. A renewed front end shouldnt have that problem. maybe some steering or arm ball joints are loose, worn out (not replaced) or simply out of alignment. I advise that you take it for a new front end alignment, the technician will tell you about any part out of spec that will impair the alignment.

Label by label empty

I think that the settings in your label printer driver are not the same as the physical label.
Say you have a 50 x 25mm label , then the settings in the printer driver must be the same, both in the "Properties" and the "Default" Tabs. Also if your printer has a calibration routine, then run this first.

Left side margin is fading out right side margin is printing correctly

First try to align the printer head either with software or at the printer control panel. If that one couldn't solve the problem then you may have the encoder strip dirty at left side. It is not easy to access the encoder strip, sent it to workshop.

140XiIII left side print right side completely blank

Verify your LCD Display Print Width setting is set wider than your actual label width. The printer will only print to the width of the PRINT WIDTH setting. Also verify any driver or software settings as these override your printer settings.
