Yes you can, but please note that the laptop has shared video memory so if you will get a low rating index on Windows 7 you will need to upgrade the RAM (it supports up to 4GB) in order to allocate more RAM to the video card.
Take the original "System Restore" set of CDs that were shipped with your computer, and use them.
If you cannot find them, telephone ACER, and order a replacement set of those "System Restore" CDs. Probably $20 plus $20 for overnight-courier delivery.
Of so then I fear the easist fix would be to re-install windows using the discs that came with the laptop. Please bear in mind that this will completly wipe all information on the laptop, i.e e-mails, documents etc.
If this is not possible because you have data you need to keep then it may need more investigations.
put up the backup cds which was given at the time of buying or you can download laptop backup file from your manufacturer and you can restore it
press f8 try to go to safe mode or last restore point and you can restore it
Do BIOS re-flash to make original setting back, but must make make sure you find correct BIOS.Better ask tech do for you if you are not familiar computer, otherwise the laptop will dead if you chose wrong BIOS.
