Question about Dishwashers
A Whirlpool under-the-counter dishasher (just a little over the one year warrantee as luck would have it) is making a loud grinding noise but is still going through all of the cycles OK. The User Instructions say that it could be a hard object that has entered the wash module and that the sound should go away after a complete cycle. After three cycles it only got louder and louder. Any advice? Ed from Pittsburgh
Remove the lower spray assembly and clean out the sump area.
Probably broken glass or a loose screw got in there.
