Sir, this can be done by the service provider only. They will track it down for you. But there also lies a problem. If the thief discards the service provider's Sim, it will become impossible to track. Sir, Kindly contact the service provider and insist them to track it down.
As far as I know IMEI numbers are like registration numbers, they dont actually trace. I know with modems etc that have IMEI numbers they cant be traced. At telstra IMEI numbers were only like a registration number, my suggestion is to cancel the phone. only a suggestion though....
