Our Bosch Dryer sometime will not restart after using it for a while. I unplug it and plug it back in and it works just fine for awhile. Whats up?

After using it a while? If the door is being opened and shut again, you need to hear a click as it shuts, confirming the electrical circuit is completed. No click, no work.

If you press the start button and the machine hums but does not start, the start button is NOT the problem. If you press it and hear nothing, this suggests a defective start button. (Bear in mind the door has to be shut for it to work.)

If the problem is the main circuit board is frying, you can inspect it for signs of burning but actually testing it is difficult.

Be sure vents are clear.

I have a Kenmore elite washing machine and when I power it on it goes on . then I push the start button and I hear a humming noise and the timer is flashing . Please help.

oh oh a humming noise usually not a good sign, and usually is from a bad motor with windings that have gone out. in ur case u may be hearing what u think is a humming noise? but in reality may be a bad push start button which can sound like a hum but is more of a buzzing sound

Kenmore dryer Tub will not turn freely. Feels as if it's hung up. When you you press the start button it will just make a humming noise.

Hi,
A guess, sounds like you are hearing the motor running but no tub belt as it is probably broke. If you are asking then you probably don't know how to fix it so you should call a repairman. Or the tub guides are wore out either way a repairman can help.

When I press the start button, it hums but won't turn on, I hear clicking behind the cycle setting dial?

f you hear the motor humming and not starting at all it most likely has a severe friction problem with the drum or motor. It could possibly have some type of garment jamming the blower wheel preventing the motor from starting too.

Open the dryer door and manually rotate the dryer drum counter clockwise (CCW). It should take very little effort to rotate the drum. If it's hard to rotate that could explain why the motor hums instead of starting up. If it turns freely, shut the door and see if will start. If it still hums and not start it may have bad motor or a low voltage supply to the motor.

Kenmore dryer model 86950100, when I push the start button it just hums and will not start.First time it did it I waited 1/2 hour then it ran fine for couple days and now it started again, just hums. I...

the humming is coming from the motor,if you can spin the drum by hand and it moves freely you need to replace the motor,if it's hard to move you need to take the dryer apart to see why it's hanging up,the overload resets on the motor that's why after a while you'll hear the hum again,if you hold the button to long you'll pop the overload

When I press the start button on my Kenmore Dryer Model #96291100 I hear the motor humming and the timer clicking but it's not turning on. The belt is good

you have a problem with a part called a capacitor, which holds an electric charge to start the motor when, when it's faulty, the motor cannot start, hence the humming noise.it must be replaced, only by a qualified repairman.

Dryer wont start when start button is pressed, but humming sound

I'd sure start by making sure the belt isn't broken. You can usually see the belt with a flashlight after accessing the panel (some are in front, others in the rear) - don't go probing around bare armed without unplugging the unit....

No sound from subwoofer just a humming sound

click on the start button >> select Run. In the Run box type "services.msc" without the quotes and press Enter.
Services window will open up, select "windows audio" from the list, double click on it, the startup type should be Automatic and then click on Start button to start this service. Problem should be solved by now.
