Question about Cell Phones
I have a black jack 2 and it will not let me set ringtones. it is saying that they are corrupted and to pick a different ringtone. why is this?
The proprietary software can be picky. It can also corrupt data. If the ring tones are downloads from your official cell site "im assuming its sprint." you should be able to erase them and download new copies free of charge. If they are third party ring tones they could be corrupt or an unsupported format. If you continue to have issues with corruptions take your phone into the store and have them do a software upgrade or a refirb. It sould take no longer than 30 mins and will reformat the opperating system and firmware in most cases. FYI any saved data on the phone could be lost including phone numbers unless they make a back up. REMIND THEM. Good look.
