This is a power supply problem. It may be as simple as a blown fuse or as complex as a problem with overvoltage and overcurrent events within the circuitry of the Horizontal and Hig Voltage sections of the set. If it is a fuse that's simple to replace, the other well that can get kind of involved. In any event I would suggest that you get the set analyzed by a qualified Television repair person.

Sharp model lc-20sh1u won't turn on, just makes a clicking sound and indicator light flashes red.

The clicking sound may be a power relay coming on and then off--problem indicates a trouble in the main power supply.

Sharp Model # 32C241 shuts itself off. When I unplug it for a few minutes and try again, it starts up and runs fine. Has happened twice this week. I'm disabled and money is an issue. What causes this and...

You could try and switch outlets and see if that helps. If it continues to do the same thing access the T.V. menu from your remote and check to make sure you don't have a sleep timer set. If there is no sleep timer and switching outlets doesn't help then my guess (from my own experience) would be that it's probably on its last leg and would require a repair. If it does require a repair then you would probably have better luck buying a new T.V.

I am unable to locate of picture of that part either but when Sharp says "power button" the on-off plastic push button is what that means. The cheapest I found it was on the mcm electronics website.

Hello, TV turns on and can get to the MENU, but no picture. I hooked up to a smaller tv with the same cables and picture is clear as a bell. Any thoughts on how to get a picture? Thanks

Make sure you select TV as an input, then do a channel scan. If that did not work, then TUNER of your TV most likely a problem.

Where i can download a free schematic diagram for 32c241 sharp tv.thank you

a free diagram will be very difficult to track down with that specific model. is it CRT or LCD or Plasma? your best bet would be to find a couple repair diagrams for tv's of similar type (google "tv repair diagram and scroll through the image search results.)
if it is a CRT then it won't be too bad, as they are pretty universal in the way they're built on the inside, so looking at a couple CRT repair guides should yield a good idea of what to expect, what might be moved around, and what stays constant.
your next option (which i am sure you are aware of) will be to call Sharp and request one from them, and it will most likely come with a price.
is there a specific problem with the TV that prompts you to need to disassemble it? perhaps we could better help with a specific problem. if you're taking it apart for fun, skip the diagram and jump into it. inside any electronic will just be circuit boards mounted to parts of the frame and a tv tube in this case, so you really can't harm anything by gently taking it apart. putting it back together is a matter of fitting the square peg into the square hole, so-to-speak, as the boards won't fit properly on any side other than that which they were removed from. cables are the same way.
hope this helps a little.
