I connected my laptop with my dell A 920 and on my computer when i look to add printer it is not listed. It does nto print at all, i guess it is not recognised

You have to install the printer drivers. Click here to download the driver for DELL A920. Select the driver file according to your Operating System (e.g. Windows XP). After downloading the file, just double click it and follow the on-screen instruction. This will install the printer and you would be able to print.

Good Luck!
Hope this helps!

Windows 7 were can i download the drivers for windows 7

Unfortunately, according to Dell's website, it looks like the A920 InkJet Printer is not compatible with Windows 7.

You could download earlier drivers for that printer from this page though (for Windows 2000, Windows XP and Vista).

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&os=WLH&osl=en&catid=&impid=&SystemID=PRN_ALL_A920

If your operating system is Windows XP, you can download the driver directly from that page. If you have Windows 2000 or Windows Vista, you can change the operating system at the top of the page to get the correct download.

Dell Printer A920 + macbook

The Dell printers sold right now are Lexmark printers manufactured specifically for Dell. Dell only sells Windows PCs so there are no printer drivers for the Macintosh OS. I?m surprised your Mac doesn?t at lest recognize the printers presence but even if it did there are no software drivers so it isn?t going to work. Sorry for the bad news, please don?t shoot the messenger :)

Dell A920 Printer

Hi, Download the driver software from this website: http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=bz&l=en&s=gen&ServiceTag=&SystemID=PRN_ALL_A920&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid= Then plug in your printer into your computer. When the 'Found New Hardware' wizard pops up, cancel it. Then run the driver software that you downloaded and that should install your printer for use. User manuals and other support information is also provided in technical support link on the webpage. Good luck, Lolita
