My guide might help you, it's worth a try, it is entitled My Computer is not turning on!!! Is it dead!!! No POST!!!

Sounds like a windows error though, some how the installation may have been corrupted. I suggest performing a virus scan on a test PC. An alternative is to take it in to a computer technician.

Thanking you
Happy testing

Dell insiron 1525

My father had a similar problem with the HP he has. Basically, what has happened is the actual script that controls where the boot sector is located is corrupt.

Boot with your first recovery disk and try to fix the issue. If this doesn't work, then you'll have to reinstall.

Replace broken LCD of dell inspiron 1525 with new LCD

Why do you need to replace the whole screen?
Have you worked out exactly what is wrong?
The screen may have a faulty CCFL lamp or a faulty inverter, replacing these is cheaper than replacing the whole screen.
For parts, service and DIY info have a look at LCD Parts WEB site.

You have got 2 choices.
1. Replace to LCD screen, get a repairman to do it for you or do it yourself. If you want to DIY and purchase a new screen have a look at www.lcdpart.com
2. If you don't want to replace the screen then connect an external monitor to the laptop, then it won't be portable.
