Your windows installation package is fake or just a recopy of the original you need to purchase an original in order to avoid the appearance of the genuine validation window. you need to reformat and install the original/genuine windows for you to avoid such problem.

Unlock Windows password with Windows built-in Administrator account.

Here's how this admin unlocks forgotten Windows password:
Start your computer and wait for the Windows Login or Welcome Screen. Once it shows, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete twice and then type Administrator in the pop-up username box, but leave the password column blank. Next you could successfully log onto system. The following steps for resetting the forgotten password are quite easy. You can make it from "Start->Control Panel->Users Accounts".

Besides, Windows Password Reset is a great choice .

I've got a document to print and when I click print it tells me (in the jobs queue) it is idle. This has only happened within the last few weeks. How can this be solved?

Power Cycle the printer sometimes resolved a problem like this.

Go to printer properties
right click and choose see whats printing for vista and win7 and click open for windows xp
pop up window will open then click on printer and cancel all documents
this will clean documents stuck on queue

go to start and click search for win7 and vista or click run for win xp
type services.msc
pop up window will open then look for print spooler
click restart on the spooler then it will restart only the print spooler
try printing again

Issue
The solutions in this document address the issue of print jobs getting stuck in the print queue
A log of print jobs waiting to print
. The following symptoms might also accompany this issue, and this document does address these other symptoms:

Printer won't print
*
Printer is Offline
*
No response from product

Check the print driver and the port
If you ever installed more than one HP product on the computer, the product might not be the default printer, or the wrong print driver might have been configured. Follow these steps to check the print driver configuration.

1.
On the Windows taskbar, click Start ( ), click Control Panel , and then double-click Printers and Faxes . The Printers and Faxes folder opens.
2.
Look for a black checkmark ( ) next to the product icon. This checkmark indicates which product is the default printer.

*
If the wrong product is the default , right-click the icon for the correct product, and then click Set as Default Printer .
*
If the correct product is the default , continue to the next step.
3.
Right-click the icon for your product ( ), and then click Properties . The printer Properties window opens.
4.
Click the Ports tab.
5.
Look for your product under the Description column, and then view the Ports column to the left.
6.
Select your connection type to determine which port you should use

I locked my self out of the computer and forgot the password how do I log in

Hello,
If you forget your Windows password or if your password expires, you must reset your password before you can log on to your computer. This article contains two methods that you can try to reset your password so that you can log on to your computer again. These steps only work if you have previously created a password reset disk for the computer, or if you can log on as an administrator to assign a new password to your account.

If you do not have a reset disk or cannot log on as an administrator, unfortunately, you may have to reinstall Windows XP and all other programs that were installed on the computer before you can use the computer again. This is for security. Without these safeguards, anyone could reset a password to anyone else's computer and gain access to private information.

Also there is another way you can solve this issue.
- Go to start and run type in CMD
-Black screen would pop up and do this
net user user name *
(user name means whatever ur username is that appears on your login screen)
after this the computer will ask u to type a password so just type any password. Better to type a really short one becasue when you type the password on this screen you won't see the cursor moving or your password being typed in.
Press Enter after typing the password.
It will ask you to retype the password. Again the password would be visible when you type.
Press Enter and it will tell you command completed successfully. If it does not work then retype the commands again carefully. Just make sure u type a short password, probably a one letter password and u wont have any issues.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Thanks.

There is no room to enter a domain.

Hi,
I'm assuming that the operating system is XP.

Log in to your account as you usually would. Right click on My Computer and select Properties from the list. Click on the Computer Name tab. Where it says "To rename this computer or join a domain" click on change. A new window will pop up so click on Workgroup. In the typing plane if it say's MSHOME, delete that and type WORKGROUP make sure you type it in uppercase (capital letters).
When you've done that click OK.
The computer will tell you that you have to restart the computer for the changes to take effect so please restart the computer.

Once the computer has restarted you can check if the domain has changed to WORKGROUP.

Please post back if you need anymore help.

Regards.

I have a Dell system with microsoft windows XP. The last 2 days I have gotten a message that a file is corrupt and unreadable and to run a chkdsk utility. I have tried to on two fronts but it refuses to...

use this one:

Type "Y" for yes. press enter.

Restart the computer and let the disk check process run.

Pay attention towards the end you'll get a two second flash telling you if there were any problems, etc.

HP Product Registration pop-up

This is caused by an entry in the Task Scheduler. To get rid of it, you need to be logged on with Administrator priveleges, then do the following:
1. Click Start, type the following in the search field and press enter: Task Scheduler
2. Cllick Continue to confirm permission.
3. Click Task Scheduler Library in the Left column.
4. Click on any of the following in the center column:
a. InternetService Offers (If your pop-up is regarding the internet)
b. Registration (If your pop-up is regarding registering your PC)
c. Service Plan (If your pop-up is regarding warrenty)
d. Extended Service (If your pop-up is regarding extended service plans)

BTW, notice that the idiot that programed these entries set them to trigger every 30 minutes, indefinatly.

Hope this helps.
