3F8 is a comm port address, try removing modem card if you have one. Once you can get into bios setup, disable comm port that is using 3f8.

CORRUPTED BIOS Reprogramming the BIOS That depends on your motherboard Model. It should correspond to your BIOS Model. Download the Motherboard's BIOS file usually in a Zip file then the contents are .bin files. Then use the BIOS manufacturer's EPROM Programming tool. Which usually comes with a user manual or guide on how to's. Just follow its examples. ONE BAD LEAD?
try replacing all the leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions + IDE,SATA and the ones that attach from your motherboard to hard drive one bad lead will cause a computer to shut down
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they are probably old and faulty ?
