Question about Kodak Carousel 5600 Slide Projector
I have a Kodak carousel 5600 projector that use to work but now doesn't. I understand that a new light bulb was put in the projector but no light comes out of it. Anideas? Len
First, check to see if the lamp lights at all (spill light coming out of the projector near the fan). If it does, then the problem could be just the "dark shutter" not opening. If the lamp does not light, it could be a couple of things: it could be the lamp thermal fuse has opened or it could be a bad lamp socket.
Sounds like you need to seek out a factory-trained repair dealer for this one, to narrow down the possibilities!
