Royal 150MX When you put paper in it does not
If the cutting blades do not turn when it is running then you have likely boken a plastic gear inside.

Following a paper jam which was resolved, the shredder still works but makes a rapid (about 2 per second) rapping sound each time it runs. {sort of like a projecting screw head is bumping its enclosure...

Will not start/stop automatically.
UNPLUG THE MACHINE FIRST.!!!
Then try cleaning the glass eyes in the middle where you insert the paper...a soft cloth will do the trick...UNPLUG IT FIRST.!!

Royal 150MX shredder won't auto shut off. When powered on, always runs until powered off, even after all paper is shredded. Is this also a reset problem or something fouling a switch?
Prob could be the "eyes" in the middle where you put the paper in. They just might need cleaning with a soft cloth( unplug machine first.) If that dos'nt fix it the eyes could be faulty or the pcb could be faulty....give Royal a call at 1-800-524-0799 for parts and prices.
