Question about EliteGroup P4M800PRO-M Motherboard
I have a elitegroup P4M800PRO-M motherboard and since installing it my system will not poweroff automatically once windows is shut down.
ACPI is set on in the CMOS and there is no option in control panel power options to turn off PC to power down. I am using XP

You have either got the power and reset connectors the wrong way round fro the front panel, or you have not enabled ACPI in the advanced cmos settings to allow the board to support shutdown by Windows. Also check in the power options in control panel and ensure that when you click turn off the pc is instructed to power down.
