The Z750 uses SD cards and is limited to 2GB cards. 4GB and up cards are SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) cards and do not work in devices designed for SD cards. This is a hardware issue and cannot be upgraded in firmware.
SD cards will work in SDHC devices, but not the other way around.
Never mind, just ignored my posted note.
I just get confused . Had been tried to follow the instruction manual book, but the book doesn't mentioned max capacities of the SD memory card, so I called Hitachi Service Hotline, and they gave me helpful hints which is I should use max 1 GB SD memory card.
You can now get up to 2.0 Gigs (that's 2048MB) of storage on a MiniSD card and all you would need is a SD Adaptor. The following site has MiniSD cards that are 1.0Gig (1024MB) or 2.0Gig (2048MB) and they come with FREE adaptors!
As technology increases so will the story size. They are talking about making MiniSD cards that are up in the 5.0gig (5120MB) area. Enjoy!
