Question about HP Compaq Presario V2000 Notebook
A message occurs evertime I turn on my computer, stating that Windows did not start successfully. I get a couple of options regarding the problem but none of them do anything. I can choose to set up through: Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking, Safe Mode with Command Prompt, Last known good configuration, and start windows normally. Whenever I select one of the prompts, a Windows XP page briefly loads, then a blue screen flashes, and the Windows errors message appears again. None of the start up solutions render the problem, what should I do? I can either enter
Boot from startup floppy disks or CD-ROM, choose repair option during setup, and run Recovery Console. When you are logged on, you can run FIXMBR command to fix master boot record. This should solve your problem.
