SOURCE: My Defy 621 stove causes the earth leakage to trip

Most likely an element. When the heating wire expands inside the tube it contacts earth and kicks out the earth leakage. Select 'grill' and try the oven. If it does not trip out the lower element is the culprit. Replacement is easy for a reasonably adept handyman - just make sure that the mains are off!

SOURCE: SMEG DO4SS-5 double oven not heating up

If the fan is running, then it is safe to say that the oven element has gone.
Replace with a new one,(element that is).,
Plz rate this solution.
Thanks.

Oven:
power comes in, goes to overtemp > timer > function switch > thermostat > element then back to neutral
fan & light come on with function or thermostat switch.
what else do you need to connect?
Oh, hotplates. Power in > infinite switch > hotplate and indicator then back to neutral.
Watch out for two phase with indicator light.

I bought a house with a Defy Gemini Petite Chef oven but it is not working. The oven flicker on Auto. How can I delete the Auto?

Most models won't work when on Auto. There are push buttons under the clock and one has a picture of a hand (Like a cop holding up his hand to say "Stop"). From left to right numbering the buttons 1-6, this is button 4 on your appliance. Press this button and it should go back to manual mode and allow you to use the oven.
You can download a manual for this appliance from here:

Or google " Gemini Petite Chef manual " and the first hit has the link
