You must find an independent bicycle shop that does repairs, speciality tools are required to work on shocks, some shops ship shocks to the manufacturer to get fixed. There may be a Manitou warrenty on them anyways, be prepared for it taking a while. REFER TO:

Can you tell me what year and model diamondback this bikecycle is serial number is as01lo216o not 100% sure if they are zeros or o's

If the model is not right on the frame the bike has been repainted, which lowers its value. Year is not very important. Serial numbers are not very helpful, but you can try Google search for "Diamondback serial number". Also, see my tip: How to determine the year value etc of your bicycle

Sanyo dp42840 42/46 in color tv have no sound or pic

No picture or sound means the main circuit board has failed, in most cases the boards are not repaired but replaced, this is a very expensive repair and so the option of replacing the TV comes into play, factors that affect the decision to repair or replace are the age of the TV, more than 6 years old replace it, less than 5 repair it. The average life of today's flat panel big screens is at best 8-9 years.

Water comeing out cloudy and makeing suds in pool

There could be a few things causing these problems. How old is the sand in the filter? Filter sand looses its filtering ability after 3-5 years and needs to be replaced. If the sand needs to be replaced, make sure you get actual pool filter sand. A lot of big box and home improvement stores sell play sand as filter sand. That will cause your pool to stay cloudy and never clear up. If the sand is less that 3-5 years old, you may need to clean it with a liquid filter cleaner that is poured through the skimmer. This works quite well!

Another issue causing the cloudiness and bubbles could be the type of chemicals you are using. I know that shock from big box and home improvement stores cause the water to be cloudy. Algaecides from these stores also cause foaming.

Hi! I have a FUJI Thrill LT 1.0 bike frame with no rear shock (2006 model 17'') and I'm trying to figure out which rear shock to buy. On they say my bike uses a "Manitou S-Type SRL,...

Eye-to-eye is the unloaded distance between the shock mount ends when its on the bike. Unless the shock could squish down flat the piston travel will be somewhat less than its total length. Effective axle travel from shock compression is a function of the bike design and the shock stroke distance. 145mm is the wheel travel, not the stroke.

Yes, they come in different lengths and stroke distances...

again, for different frame and suspension designs. You need to match the spec for YOUR bike. Unfortunately, no one specs the stroke of the shock when discussing the wheel travel. You may need ask Fuji directly.

Converting airshocks into regular shocks

aaahhhh, yea if im not mistaken those are the ones that are controlled by computer? my guess would be to find some from maybe a crown victoria and see if they are compatable. or call a autoparts store and see if they carry a non-air version for that car. most of the time, parts on the same make and year of a car will be interchangeable. if they are built around the same frame. like the alternator out of a crown vic would probably be the same one thats in your car for example. but im positive you should be able to get non-air shocks for it, or even call ford and ask what shock were compatable with the mark7. i see those cars around my town and they look like they have been lowered cause the shocks and or the controlling computer have gone bad. i hope this helps but try to see about ones off of a 89 crown vic. i bet they have the same bolt patterns
